Agape Life Ministry
Full-stack church website with content management for a New Orleans congregation
Agape Life Ministry is a New Orleans church that needed more than a brochure site. The congregation wanted visitors to find service times and directions instantly, and church leadership wanted to publish sermons, events, and daily devotionals themselves — without editing code or calling a developer.
- Next.js
- React 19
- TypeScript
- Tailwind CSS
- Supabase
- Resend
- Vercel

The Problem
The church's information lived across social media and word of mouth. Visitors couldn't easily find service times, events changed week to week, and leadership had no way to publish sermons or devotionals without technical help.
The Solution
A full-stack Next.js application backed by Supabase. Public pages cover worship times, events, sermons, daily word, and visit planning. A secure pastor login provides a simple dashboard where leadership manages content directly, and Resend powers transactional email for contact and follow-up.
What I Did
- Built the full stack: Next.js App Router frontend, Supabase database and authentication, Resend email
- Designed a warm, accessible visual identity distinct from typical template church sites
- Created a protected admin area so non-technical staff can manage sermons, events, and devotionals
- Handled domain setup, DNS, SSL, and production deployment on Vercel
The Outcome
The congregation now has a single source of truth for services and events, and leadership publishes content independently — no developer required for day-to-day updates.
